The PG Commerce Conference was very well received by all the students. The conference included an inaugural session, two technical sessions, and a valedictory session.

Inaugural Session (9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)

• Prayer: Ms. M. Priyadharshni, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Lady Doak College, Madurai
• Welcome Address: Dr. P. Vanitha Malarvizhi, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Commerce & Bursar, Lady Doak College, Madurai
• Introducing the Chief Guest: Dr. S. Srii Latha, Associate Professor & Coordinator B.Com (Honours), Department of Commerce, Lady Doak College, Madurai
• Presidential Address: Dr. R. Beulah Jeyashree, Principal & Secretary, Lady Doak College, Madurai
• Felicitation: Mr. CS. Ramalingam S, Chairman, Madurai Chapter of ICSI
• Inaugural Address: Ms. Gagandeep K Bhullar, Founder & CEO, Superhuman Race, New Delhi, India. There was a roaring applause while reading the profile of Ms. Gagandeep Bhullar, especially when considering her associations with the United Nations and Boeing Aircraft.

Technical Session 1 (11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)

• Topic: "Responsible Investing & ESG Practices in MSMEs"
• Resource Person: Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, CEO, Eastern Global Clothing, Tiruppur. There was a standing ovation for Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy for their efforts through Vetri Vanthukkul Tiruppur forum for rejuvenating Tiruppur.

Technical Session 2 (2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

• Topic: "Role of Board on ESG Reporting Standards"
• Resource Person: CS Iyappan Kannan, Founder, Iyappan Kannan & Associates, Tirunelveli. The legal compliance explanation of Mr. Iyyappan was well received.

Valedictory Session (3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

• Welcome Address & Introducing the Chief Guest: Ms. R. Deepa, Associate Professor & Coordinator B.Com (Banking & Insurance), Department of Commerce Lady Doak College, Madurai
• Valedictory Address: Dr. Baiju Ramachandran FCS, Director, Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kerala. Dr. Baiju's way of explaining the concepts through movies attracted students' attention.

Organizers

All the speakers were arranged by Environmental Social Governance & Company Secretary Foundation (ESG CS Foundation). The entire team of President, Secretary, and Treasurer of ESG CS Foundation worked for 3 months to arrange these speakers and make this program a grand success. Ms. Kanmani, Company Secretary and a volunteer at both ESG CS Foundation and VVT, was instrumental in the event's coordination.
