Tech-Savvy CS Seminar Successfully Concluded in Madurai

The Madurai Chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in association with ESG CS Foundation successfully organized a one-day seminar titled "Tech-Savvy CS: Using AI & Legal Tech Tools for Seamless Corporate Compliance" on 14th June 2025 at Hotel Metropole, Madurai.

The seminar was aimed at equipping Company Secretaries and governance professionals with emerging legal tech tools and artificial intelligence-based solutions to meet the growing demands of corporate compliance. With the regulatory landscape evolving rapidly, this timely initiative provided a practical and futuristic outlook to the compliance function.

The program featured thought-provoking sessions by industry leaders:

  • Dr. M. Subramanian, Director, R.L. Institute of Management, who set the context by discussing the digital transformation in the professional services sector.

  • Shri Ahmed Ghous, Head – Strategic Alliances & Partnerships, Strategic Alliance for Products & Services (India), who shed light on AI adoption across industries and its relevance for the compliance domain.

  • CS. Ans Vijay, Practicing Company Secretary, Sivakasi, who shared hands-on insights and real-world examples of how legal tech and AI is streamlining compliance work for practicing professionals.

The program received overwhelming participation from professionals, students, and stakeholders from across Tamil Nadu, who appreciated the balanced mix of academic depth, industry relevance, and practical case studies.

ESG CS Foundation, as a co-organizer, played a key role in curating the sessions and mobilizing participants, reflecting its ongoing commitment to capacity building in the fields of ESG, corporate governance, and compliance automation.
