DPDP Compliance, AI Governance & Cyber Violations | Interactive Session at ICSI Madurai Chapter’s 3-Day Residential Conference

We are pleased to share that CS A.N.S. Vijay, Practising Company Secretary, ANS & Co., Sivakasi and Founder of ESG CS Foundation, delivered an engaging and interactive session at the 3-Day Residential Conference organised by the Madurai Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), held from 10th to 12th July 2026 at Essaki Resorts, Courtallam, Tenkasi.


The conference was organised around the theme “Role of Compliance in AI Era”, bringing together Company Secretaries and professionals for three days of learning, interaction and knowledge sharing.

As part of the conference, CS A.N.S. Vijay delivered a session on:


“DPDP Compliance, AI Governance & Recent Cyber Violations”

The session covered the growing importance of DPDP compliance, data privacy, responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, AI governance, emerging cyber risks and recent cyber violations, with a focus on the evolving responsibilities of compliance professionals in the AI era.


The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of professionals, who actively engaged throughout the discussion and shared their views and queries on practical compliance challenges.

An interactive quiz conducted as part of the session received an excellent response, with participants actively taking part and making the session more engaging, informative and enjoyable.

It was encouraging to see the participants’ keen interest in understanding the emerging intersection of AI, data protection, cyber law and corporate compliance.


We sincerely thank the Madurai Chapter of ICSI for providing this wonderful opportunity and platform for professional learning, interaction and knowledge sharing.
